The following are just a few examples of how you can get involved as a volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering in either of the below examples, or in another way, please contact the Murphy Centre.

Options are:

• Organize an office Jean’s Day once a week and donate the proceeds to the Murphy Centre
• Host an office social (pot-luck, BBQ) and ask employees to donate a minimum of $5.00 each to the Murphy Centre. Take it a step further and ask your employer to match the employee donation
• Volunteer to guest speak or tutor Murphy Centre participants
• Become a mentor by sharing your experience and expertise with Murphy Centre participants
• Support a fundraising event by organizing a committee of volunteers to help out with a Murphy Centre special event (e.g. ticket sweep, sub-drive, silent auction, concert, etc.)
